Show them all -- or don't -- in Postal 2
Tasteless offensive and frequently downright silly Postal 2 is a first-person shooter that puts you in the role of a disgruntled everyman just trying to get through an ordinary week in the town of Paradise. Getting through the week though involves taking a lot of abuse from strangers and although it's possible to fulfill all of the game's missions without shooting anyone in the face doing it the old-fashioned way is a lot more satisfying.

Postal 2 is in many ways a legacy of an earlier age when American postal employees were associated in popular culture with random acts of mass violence. The original Postal game courted controversy when it came out as did this one -- intentionally so. Gameplay-wise this game shifts from its predecessors isometric perspective to a first-person one and gives plenty of weapon options including the bizarre ability to use a cat as an improvised silencer. As a shooter it's perfectly ordinary -- the game's real appeal (or lack thereof) is its bizarre sense of humour.
Dated but interesting
Like any game focused on controversy Postal 2 has aged. Not only are its graphics from an earlier era -- they weren't particularly cutting-edge at the time -- but its jokes haven't aged well. Still if you can turn certain parts of your brain off it offers hyper-violent none-too-serious fun.
